Publishing a website on a Juniper Firewall

Today we are going to publish an internal website to the world wide web thru an Juniper SSG-350M device.

After you logon to the device you choose Policy>Policy Elements>Addresses>List

Select in the upper left side for Untrust, and after that you click on New.

First enter the name for the Address entry. We choose oda186 (Original Destination Address). Under IP Address / Domain you enter the original destination address. Click ok to save the entry.

Next up, you select  Policy>Policies.

In the upper bar you select in both From and To ‘Untrust’, next you select ‘New’

The Source entry you enter ‘Any’, in the destination entry you select the new created oda186. Under services select ‘HTTPS’. Enable logging so you van monitor the traffic, and troubleshoot any issues.

Next you click on ‘Advanced’

Select ‘Destination Translation’, select ‘Translate to IP’ and enter your local ip-address. Click on ‘OK’ and your site is published.
